The improvement of 1C software was one of the factors that the World Bank substantiated the rise of Russia in the Doing Business ranking. This was reported in a published Doing Business-2020 study.
In the latest published ranking, Russia rose from 31st to 28th place. The authors of the study note that the reasons for the advancement of Russia were:
- simplification and acceleration of connecting enterprises to the power supply system, including the creation of specialized departments for technological connection to power supply;
- strengthening the protection of minority investors, including through greater corporate transparency;
- simplification of the tax payment system, including reducing the time for VAT refunds and further improving 1C programs used to prepare tax and accounting reports.
Recall, the Doing Business rating, published annually by the World Bank, reflects the ease of doing business in countries. It is based on an assessment of 12 areas of the business environment in 190 countries.
The purpose of the rating is to provide objective data on the state of entrepreneurship in a particular country. This information is used by investors, as well as public authorities in the formation of business regulation policies.
In 2012, Russia was at 120th place in this ranking.
