The government has changed the list of grounds for business inspections in 2020

The government has changed the list of grounds for inspections that may be carried out in 2020 for organizations and individual entrepreneurs. The relevant resolution of June 13, 2020, No. 862 was published on the Official Internet Portal of Legal Information.

Now the list includes additional reasons. In particular, unscheduled inspections may be carried out, including:

  • in order to verify the fulfillment of a previously issued order upon receipt of an application from the legal entity or individual entrepreneur to conduct an inspection to recognize the order as executed.
  • if the basis for the conduct is established by the third paragraph of the fourth part of Section 301 of the Law on State Secrets.

Unscheduled inspections of non-profit organizations can also be carried out on the basis of subparagraphs 2, 3 and 5 of paragraph 42 of article 32 of the law on non-profit organizations (dated 12.01.1996 No. 7-FZ), and religious organizations, the basis for which was established by the third paragraph of paragraph 5 of Article 25 of the law on freedom of conscience and on religious associations (dated September 26, 1997 No. 125-FZ).
