Rostrud experts explained how an employer can issue an employee’s consent to work overtime or work on weekends/holidays.
The Office notes that the employer has the right to issue the employee’s consent as a separate document or collect the employees’s consent in a single subscription sheet.
In addition, employees may express their consent to be engaged in overtime work or work on weekends/non-working holidays when they familiarize themselves with the relevant order / instruction of the employer.
In any case, consent must be in writing before the start of work. This is required by the norms of Article 99 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
